Is problem the real problem??

The real problem is not the problem itself but the way we approach towards the problem..More often than not method is wrong but issue is right as said by journalist Jarnail Singh who hurled the shoe at Chidambaram....

Leaving behind the strings attached...

We all do attach strings to everything we do in our mundane life, which are small by the individual magnitude but at sometime or the other they take their toll on us collectively leaving life chaotic; be it habits ,attitude, perceptions or even opinions.. everything counts. They hold us back and we just keep ourselves busy getting out of the fuss which is what we feel herculean task and miss the wonderful opportunity which is disguised in the form of crisis. Once we find this underlying opportunity in crisis everything is happy happy ...easy easy..

http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/6919233/2/istockphoto_6919233-fasten-the-shoes.jpgIts been a tough time for me to get out of the turmoil i got into unfortunately ... though am not completely out of it , now trying to slowly get off the strings attached to myself which are more of emotional and self made cookery rather than any cliche responsibilities. Who said climbing Mt Everest is an herculean task , there are more or less similar trysts in everyone's life. Yes, I mean it. But then what I comprehend is all this is to let us know us 'ok man don't sleep , you are in danger .. be alert.. be alert!!!' With Satyam fiasco and my Mom's deteriorating health , I  learned good amount of lessons since my completion of graduation to till date , which I only wish make me cautious rest of my life and move on ... as someone said wisely Almighty gives us nuts , he does't crack them... that's life !! Well now I'm more open minded than ever before to accept the reality and I promise myself to lead the life with  grit and strong determination towards each and every task I do , not letting the evil procrastination take on me :)

Finally am leaving the family, friends, my computer ( my rescue for a long time) , the place where I've been living for the past 16 years and those memories behind to take the charge in USAI Forge(http://usaiforge.com) a sister company of OCTL(http://octlindia.com) as an Assistant Engineer Trainee this Monday i.e., on 21 December. Wish normalcy will take  over and I take this opportunity to thank all my friends( Sai Manohar , Sai Kiran, Sravan Pradjumna , Dilip Chowdary, Karthik Gupta , Sravan )   and well wishers who stood by me and supported me all through with all patience though perturbed by my strange behavior , and I promise this time , will come back stronger and better... Wish me well ...

Bolstering for what they are and not who they are

Off late I have seen two instances where the talent has been rewarded its worth and respect, which is deserving enough. One is the Telugu Cinema Nandi Awards 2008 ( say it Oscar of Tollywood) and the other is  Dhee -2 a reality( seriously its mostly real unlike the other fake reality shows) dance show for upcoming coreographers to prove their mettle.

Telugu Cinema Nandi Awards 2008  under the jury headed by Thamma Reddy Bharadwaj
( famous producer ) has done it apropos this time. They have even abandoned giving away awards in five categories which is a clear indication on how the movie making these days is turning out to be with all the junk filled with almost no value to anyone. On the other hand they have encouraged the movies that are really worth deserving I feel so like Gamyam grabbing awards in three categories which reinforces that a good story with solid narration is nevertheless a winner, both in the audience and the awards. Allari Naresh won supporting actor, while Krish ( director ) won the best director for the movie Gamyam and Seetharamashastri won one for the brilliantly composed song Enthavaraku ani adakku for his beautiful lyrics. The other biggie this time worth mentioning is a technical extravaganza Arundathi for all its glitz both onscreen and offscreen contributed by actors and techincians respectively. It bagged a total of 9 awards and a jury award for the spell bound performance by  the Bommali Anushka which speaks of it all and  Kudos to the movie makers like Shyam Prasad Reddy who always dared to do it big when he does unlike throwing away the junk every now and then. This time 7 technicians for the same film Arundathi deserved it and very rightly these awards is a pat on their shoulders saying go boy go give us some entertaining stuff like this again. Thanks to the awards for being given for what they are rather than who they are [ you got me what I mean by this right :) ]

In the reality-flu stricken telugu tv channels, hardly a show airing on telivision is really real. But amidst all these having the Indian dance demi-god Prabhu deva as the inspiration behind the Dhee-2 a dance show for upcoming choreographers to prove their mettle. Its the one among those fake reality shows with almost no frills attached it and entertains with some genuine dance movements and less bak bak of judges and at last something real. This is a show from Mallemala Tele Entertainers of aforesaid daring producer Shyam Prasad Reddy. The two winners of the show won each a Villa worth whopping 35 Lakhs and also a chance to compose dance for the upcoming movie of NTR and Vinayak. Now thats a real appreciation for what they are rather than who they are. Thanks to the people like Shyam Prasad Reddy who is out there encouraging the real talent. My hearty whishes for all those winners and dreamers of making a mark in the industry of cinema. Its always good to get what they deserve , isn't it ?  We need more of  this and lets hope this continues forever...

Isn't it same anymore..

I was just one among the awful lot,
but feels ain't I anymore

It then appeared a blissful heaven to get into ,
but feels like it isn't anymore

Had had outlandish dreams, featuring full of life ,
but they aren't the same anymore

Had had bellylaugh, guffawed sharing mirth,
no good left to share anymore

Wasn't caring enough to the family,
but ain't I the same anymore

Wasn't black hat then to have a contingency,
but ain't I the same anymore

Life was a box of chocolates then ,
isn't it same anymore....?

Why am I loosing my memory ?

Following article by Dr. Sonia Kakar( drsonia@orientpaperbacks.com)  from Orient Literary Review of July 2009 is a bliss for this contemporary idiots who hate themselves most of the times for their memory loss.

Why am I loosing my Memory ?
There are several reasons why you could be losing our memory. Sorry to say, age is actually the cause. Information is stored in three different parts of your memory : short-term memory, the recent memory and the remote or distant memory.

Information stored in the short-term memory may include the name of a person you met a few minutes ago.Information stored in the recent memory may include what you ate for breakfast today.Information stored in the remote  memory includes things that happened years ago, Such as memories of childhood.

Beginning in your 20's you begin to lose brain cells a few at a time. Your body also starts to make less of the chemicals  that your brain cells need to work. The older you are, the more these changes can affect your memory Aging may affect memory by changing the way your brain stores information and by making it harder to remember stored information.

Your short-term and remote memories are not usually affected by aging. But your recent memory can be affected. You may forget names of people you met recently. These are normal changes.

Healthy habits to improve Memory

Regular Exercise

Increases oxygen to your brain. Reduces the risk for disorders that lead to memory loss, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. May enhance the effects of helpful brain chemicals and protect brain cells.

Managing  Stress

Cortisol, the stress hormone, can damage the hippocampus if the stress is unrelieved. Stress makes it difficult to concentrate.

Good Sleep Habits

Sleep is necessary for memory consolidation. Sleep disorders like insomnia and sleep apnea leave you tired and unable to concentrate during the day.

Not Smoking

Smoking heightens the risk of vascular disorders that can cause storke and constrict arteries that deliver oxygen to the brain.

Nutrition and Memory Improvement

You probably know already that a diet based on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and "healthy" fats will provide lots of health benefits, but such a diet can also improve memory. Research indicates that certain nutrients nurture and stimulate brain function.

Best source for B Vitamin B6, B12 and folic acid : spinach and other dark leafy greens, broccoli, asparagus, strawberries, melons, black beans and other legumes, citrus fruits, soybeans.

Best source for Antioxidants like vitamins C and E, and beta carotene: blueberries and othe berries, sweet potatoes, red tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, green tea, nuts and seeds, citrus fruits, liver.

Best source for Omega-2 fatty acids: cold-water fish such as salmon, herring, tuna, halibut and mackerel; walnuts and walnut oil; flaxseed and flaxseed oil.

But remember, nutrients work best when they're consumed in foods, so try your best to eat a broad spectrum of colorful plant foods and choose fats that will help clear, not clog, your arteries. Your brain will thank you!

My Favorites in Hindi Music

Stumbled upon a great website for repertoire of endless hours of hindi music Saavn. Though I love raaga, this one provides me ample features with great UI and also embedding the songs and playlists anywhere on the web , which the former fails miserably also with full of ads :(  Now go and browse for your favorite ones out there...Saavn.
